His breadth and depth of experience includes health care, consumer products, third party logistics, manufacturing, retail distribution, and pharmaceuticals.
As an experienced CEO and board member David has a track record of successfully leading organizations through transformational change. His expertise includes start-ups, mergers and acquisitions, and complex operating organizations in both the private and not-for-profit sectors.

Led the start-up and of Plexxus, creating a leading supply chain and back office shared services organization providing services to Ontario hospitals:

Modernized and consolidated procurement practices for $1.5 billion in annual spend, resulting in cumulative savings of over $300 million

Implemented a common back office and supply chain technology platform across 20 hospitals, 33 legal entities and 13,200 users centralized accounts payable and purchasing activities

Led integration of another shared service organization, resulting in 40% growth

Led the start-up of Hospital Logistics Inc., providing logistics services and just-in-time distribution of medical supplies to hospitals

Led operations in the start-up of Progistix-Solutions Inc. (an SCI company), a leading third-party logistics outsourcing provider

Led national distribution and transportation operations for McKesson, the largest pharmaceutical distributor in Canada, during a phase of 300% growth
